The CBIA and the Rocky Hill Chamber of Commerce hosted the State Legislative Wrap-up Meeting on Friday June 10 at the Rocky Hill Town Hall. The guest speakers included Senator Paul Doyle, Representative Tony Guerrera, CBIA Legislative Leader Eric Brown and Rocky Hill Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Gina Luari. Hallmark was represented by Andrew Parker CPC. Much of the conversation revolved around the new Connecticut budget, transportation, and the potential of a minimum wage increase.

Representative Mary Mushinsky, Assistant Majority Whip (center right), and Representative Melissa Ziobron (center left) addressed a group of business leaders regarding the upcoming budget reductions and State of CT layoffs. Both are on the Finance Committee for the State of Connecticut. With them on the discussion panel pictured were Nicole Cline, CBIA Public Affairs, and Bonnie Stewart, CBIA VP and Legal Counsel.
